Why ground-level loading changes the job
Ramps are where equipment gets damaged and where people get hurt. A scissor lift walked up a set of ramps at an angle is a slow, two-person job on a good day and a genuinely dangerous one on wet ground.
Air-Tow’s hydraulic system lowers the entire deck flat to the ground — the deck stays level the whole way down and the whole way back up, so a load never tips and never has to be re-secured mid-lift. The deck is down in under 30 seconds. You roll the machine straight on at zero degrees, raise the deck, and go.
For anything with low ground clearance, delicate calibration or an operator who has to load alone, that is the entire argument. It is also why these show up so often in rental fleets, where the trailer gets loaded and unloaded several times a day by whoever happens to be on shift.
Sizes and capacities
Six drop-deck models across single and tandem axle, plus dump and dock-height variants. Deck widths are 52" on the smallest and 75" on everything above it.
Single axle
The light end of the range — lawn equipment, motorcycles, small machinery and vending gear. Easy to tow and easy to store.

Common Air-Tow questions
A hydraulic system lowers the entire deck flat to the ground, and — this is the part that matters — the deck stays level the whole way down and back up. It is not a tilt. Your load never sits at an angle, so nothing shifts and nothing needs re-strapping partway through. The full cycle takes under 30 seconds.
Work from the heaviest thing you will load and the longest thing you will load, in that order. The single-axle models run 3,500 to 5,500 lb on 8′ to 12′ decks; the tandems run 10,000 to 14,000 lb on 12′ to 16′. Everything from the S10-55 up has a 75″ wide deck. Tell us the machine and we will tell you the model.
It depends entirely on how often you load. If you load once a season, probably not. If you load daily, or you load alone, or you are moving something with low clearance or sensitive calibration, the ground-level deck pays for itself in avoided damage and avoided injury. Rental fleets buy these for exactly that reason.
